About Susheel Chandradhas

Portrait of Susheel Chandradhas at the Taj Mahal in Agra, India

Susheel Chandradhas began taking photographs at the tender age of 7. Having a father who was interested in the art only fuelled his passion for the technology, technique and thought behind making a photograph. In school, he was one of the most enthusiastic members of the Photography Club of MCC School, Chennai. There, he learned how to develop and print black & white film, and he has been hooked on photography ever since then. At Loyola College, Chennai, he studied for his Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, where he gained a deeper understanding of visual language.

Today, Susheel is a creative professional with a background in Advertising, Design and Photography. Since 2007, he has run ColoursAlive. He has also taught photography to beginners on occasion, since 2005, with the Fortune Institute of Photography, and the Ad Club of Madras.

In his spare time, he likes to photograph parkour for Parkour Circle, where he is a permanent volunteer. He also writes for his photography tips blog, BeyondPhotoTips.com.

Susheel is available for photography assignments that span Product, Portrait, Location and Architecture, Industrial photography, AV and Video production for Corporates, Podcasts and more. He has also consulted with clients to set up customised and specialised photography solutions in industrial and production-line situations.
